The Black Storm

"Cuathain sinn troid, sinn buachan."
("When we fight, we WIN!")

The gallowglass of Clann Fhaoilcheire have adopted the name Company of the Black Storm to fight under when they travel abroad. Clad in tabards adorned with a white snarling wolf's head, they descend upon their opponents like a black storm.

The Black Storm was officially formed at the Fall Potrero War in 1996, and is commanded by our Chief.

We are a Gallowglass Free Company, based on the Gallowglass of medieval Scotland. We are currently attached to the Dreiburgen contingent of the Fifth Brigade, in the The Royal Army of Caid.

The Phoenix Medallion

Those warriors marked with a have been awarded the 5th Brigade Phoenix Medallion (a.k.a. the "War Bird") for the season(s) indicated. This award is given for making all musters in a campaign season, and was created when Seosaidh was the only fighter in the Brigade to do so in 1996. The medallion is red enamel on copper.
